|CIT Leadership training program for boys and girls entering 9th grade|
Think your kid's camping days are almost over?
Not so fast! The Jay's CIT Leadership Training Program is in-action training for future Jay's counselors. We'll teach them everything they need to be the best in all aspects of camper leadership. This fun and rewarding experience could lead to employment as a Junior Counselor when entering sophomore year in high school, and full Counselor when entering senior year.
During this 4-week session, the CIT's work with their peers to develop knowledge in all areas of camp programming, group interaction, motivational techniques, games, sports, creative theme programming and camp administration. Each trainee will have the opportunity to interact with various age groups at camp, and to learn from experienced counselors, as well receive mentorship from the CIT Leadership Program Supervisor.
At the end of the session, each CIT will receive an evaluation and certificate of completion, and those who we feel will benefit the Jay's family as future counselors will be asked to join our staff with pay when they begin their sophomore year in high school.
The CIT Leadership Program is one 4-week session. You may want to consider a 4-week Tween Scene Experience for the other 4-weeks this summer. As with all other programs, there are discounts available for returning campers, for having additional children at Jay's, and for referring new campers.
The CIT Training Program doesn't just prepare campers for leadership roles at camp, but also in their lives and in their communities.
There is limited enrollment for this program, so call soon.
